Terms and conditions
Convenience translation. Only the German version of this page is legally binding: German version.
1. Scope
These terms and conditions (AGB) apply to all services provided by Lichtlabor-Berlin (owner Norbert Winter, Hauptstraße 16–18, 10317 Berlin) under the Dental Yield brand to businesses within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB), in particular dental practices. Consumers are excluded from ordering.
2. Conclusion of contract
- The presentation on the website does not constitute a binding offer.
- Online ordering: by submitting the order on the payment page, the customer makes a binding offer. The contract is concluded upon successful payment; for the full engagement, upon payment of the first instalment. We confirm the contract by email.
- Ordering by enquiry: the contract is concluded upon our order confirmation in text form.
- We may reject an online order within five working days, in particular if the customer is not a business. In that case we refund any amounts already paid in full.
3. Services
The scope and results of the consulting packages are set out in the service description on the website and in the order confirmation. Dental Yield owes consulting services, not a specific economic result.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices are net prices plus VAT in accordance with the statutory rules.
- For online orders, the customer pays via the payment service provider Stripe by card or SEPA direct debit. The customer receives invoices electronically by email. Invoices that we issue separately are payable within 14 days without deduction.
- Full engagement: payment is made in three steps: €4,500 on placing the order, €6,900 when the practice approves the budget and 3 × €1,500, each at the start of a month of implementation support. We invoice the subsequent instalments; they are payable within 14 days without deduction. For implementation support booked as a separate package, this applies accordingly to months 2 and 3.
- The price of the second opinion is credited in full towards a Yield-Check or the full engagement if this is booked within three months of the second opinion.
5. On-site meetings, travel costs and expenses
- Consulting generally takes place online by video. We arrange on-site meetings separately.
- For travel to on-site meetings we charge €1.50 net per kilometre for the outward and return journey, calculated from Schwanenufer 9, 16816 Neuruppin, along the shortest customary road route. On request, we will state the expected travel costs in advance.
- Travel time is covered by the price of the service and is not charged separately.
- We invoice travel costs separately after the meeting. Other travel expenses such as rail, air or accommodation are only incurred if agreed in advance in text form.
6. Workshops
Workshops take place online via Microsoft Teams and last 45 minutes, followed by 15 minutes for questions in the chat. Participants receive the access link by email no later than the day before. Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 14 days before the date; after that the full price is due; a substitute participant may be named. If we cancel, we refund the price in full.
7. Templates
We deliver templates as a download by email, usually within one working day of payment. With the purchase, the practice receives a simple, non-transferable right of use for its own business. Passing them on to third parties is not permitted. The templates do not replace legal advice.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. In all other respects, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract and to the amount of the order value.
9. Governing law and place of jurisdiction
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
